Dialogue is very important in animation. The timing for a scene is determined by the dialogue recorded before the animation is drawn.

Music is an important component of animation. For animated films, music is often recorded to match each scene exactly. The dialogue track, the sound effects and the music tracks are recorded separately but assembled together at the editing stage.
